Dear New Volunteers-
I am excited to welcome you to the Pennington County Teen Court, and announce our next New Volunteer training. You have been indicated as someone who is interested in volunteering with the Pennington County Teen Court, and was placed on our training wait list. In order to start volunteering you must first complete the New Volunteer Training. Our next New Volunteer Training is scheduled for:

I have enclosed the ‘New Volunteer Training’ outline, along with a ‘Teen Court Youth Volunteering Training’ flyer. I also have enclosed four forms: ‘Teen Volunteer Agreement,’ ‘Code of Conduct for Youth Volunteers,’ ‘Teen Court Confidentiality,’ ‘Teen Court Parent/Guardian Consent Form.’
The flyer is simply for you to invite a friend with. If you have a friend that you think might want to attend this training with you, please have them review and fill out the enclosed flyer, and return it to our office ASAP.
In order to speed up your training process I have enclosed the four forms for you and your guardian to review, fill out, and sign prior to the training. Please bring these forms with you to your training. The forms will be covered during the training and you can ask questions then, or call with questions anytime.

At the end of this training you will be eligible to start volunteering the very next court night which will be:

Teen Court is a completely self passed volunteer schedule. This means you will never be forced to volunteer in a possession you feel you don’t want to. It also means you can advance with in the roles of Teen Court as quickly as you like, as long as you are meeting the training requirements for the desired position. So attend the training and see what you may or may not want to do.
